With a team of more than 1000 employees in Wolfsburg and Bochum, we work in the fields of connectivity and automotive software. Under the roof of CARIAD, the Volkswagen Group unites experienced companies that work on future technology such as integrating vehicles with hard- and software for the Group’s various brands.

In 2016 Mr. Krauße became Managing Director and Spokesman of Volkswagen Infotainment. He studied Electrical Engineering and started his career in the European certification department for analog fax devices at Muratec in 1991. He worked at Nokia in Bochum beginning in 1995 and from 1999 onward was responsible for the local research and development facility. In 2008, he became Vice President of Product Development for BlackBerry where he led the set-up of the European Research and Development Center in Bochum. During his leadership the BlackBerry Bochum site developed and brought several BlackBerry Smartphones to market including the BlackBerry Bold 9700, Z10 and Z30.

Tobias Nadjib was appointed Managing Director of Volkswagen Infotainment on Jan, 1. 2015. He graduated as Diplom-Kaufmann (FH) and started his career in the Volkswagen Group at Volkswagen R GmbH where he was responsible for European sales. Subsequently he assumed several lead positions in international sales and organizational units. In 2013 Mr. Nadjib joined AutoVision GmbH where he became responsible for personnel policies. Additionally, he managed the
founding of the AutoVision Zeitarbeit GmbH & Co. OHG as well as the integration of the newly founded Volkswagen Infotainment.
CARIAD is an independent automotive software company in the Volkswagen Group that is consolidating and further expanding the Group's software competencies. With a focus on the digital experience and automated driving, CARIAD is building the leading tech stack for the automotive industry. Established in 2020, around 6,500 CARIAD experts worldwide are working on a scalable technology stack for all Volkswagen Group brands, comprising of a unified E/E architecture, a software platform and a reliable connection to the automotive cloud. Volkswagen Infotainment is a subsidiary of CARIAD SE and cooperates with its parent organization to transform the Volkswagen Group into a software-driven car company. Aiming to create a new automotive experience and increase the innovation speed of Volkswagen Group to turn the car into a digital companion.

Our main site is situated in Bochum, directly on the technology and innovation campus MARK 51°7. Another office is located in Wolfsburg.
